Q6. What does your suitcase warranty cover ?

The 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee applies exclusively if the usability of the luggage is adversely affected by a manufacturing or material defect that was present at the time that the item was handed over. This warranty entails that certain functions of a product should be working normally upon purchase of a product. An example of one such function is a normally working lock or flexible spinner wheels. Damage caused by improper use isn't covered by the manufacturers. Excluded from the manufacturer’s guarantee are problems in which the usability of the product is restricted but not adversely affected, such as by abrasion, improper use, faulty operation, stains or externally occurring forces (such as damage occurring during flights or transport including cracks, dents, deformation, scratches, wear etc.) as well as by liquids. Damage caused by third parties (e.g. airline) should be immediately reported directly to the carrier who will be insured against this. Please note that you are obligated to declare any damage with the airline in accordance with its terms and conditions; this will have to be done right after landing and in person.

Q7. What happens if an airline damages my suitcase?

Airline baggage handling is the most common cause of damage to luggage.
its luggage is not responsible for any damage that occurs whilst your luggage is in transit, and we recommend that such damage is reported to the airline or carrier as soon as it is discovered.

Inspect your luggage immediately after receiving it from the transit company. Airline damages can be claimed from the respective airline you are travelling with.
Claims need to be registered before leaving the airport at the airline customer service desk. Details will be requested from you such as:

- Passenger name and date of flight
- Flight number
- Ticket number
- Details of damage with a picture

Ensure you receive an acknowledgement receipt.
